Today is #LoveDonegal Day and to celebrate it we invite you to save the date for next year’s Earagail Arts Festival, 9th-24th July 2022.
And what better way to show you why we #LoveDonegal so much, than to unveil our latest promotional video showcasing highlights from our 2021 festival, our beautiful county and inviting visitors from all over the world to join us in 2022.
Here is a message from CEO & Artistic Director, Paul Brown, on behalf of the festival board and staff.
“It has been an incredible journey, from Oilean Thoraí to Fanad Head, from Malin Green to Oakfield Park, from the streets of Letterkenny to the hills and beaches of the Gaeltacht, Donegal has come alive with great artwork once again.
A very special thanks goes out to all the artists, each and every one of you are the stars of the show of the most important festival in our 33-year history and to the team that make this event happen, Edel Corcoran, Seán Feeny, Conor Mullan, Sharon McMenamin, Valerie Bryce, Bryan Wallace….take a bow.
Thanks agus maith sibh to all our curators and partners, venues, crew and technicians. Aside from the business of the festival there is always a lot going on in the background, a huge thanks to our chair Meabh Uí Chonnachain, and company secretary Eunan Kelly and to all our Board of Directors who have given their time so freely in looking after the organisation, particularly over the last year.
And last but not least to all the audiences and participants, of which over 340 of you took part in actual shows in 2021, to you all, we are TOGETHER and we will be together again very soon… keep an eye on our website for our mini film festival and other live events soon… Slán anois.”
