We invite you to save the date for Earagail Arts Festival 2023.

We are pleased to officially announce our dates for the 2023 festival with some highlights of the 2022 festival programme and hope you can join us on the Wild Atlantic Way again next year from 8 – 23 July 2023.

Footage Contributions: ANIAR Film & TV Productions, An Grianán Theatre Productions, Colm Herron, Colin Norrby, Alan McLaughlin, Kevin Murray, Seán Feeny, LIGID TV Productions, John D Ruddy, Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhrighde, Breandán de Gallaí & Ériu.

Here is a message from CEO & Artistic Director, Paul Brown, on behalf of the festival board and staff.

“It has been an incredible journey as we returned to a full live programme, bigger than ever before. From the shores of the Gaeltacht islands to the lowlands of East Donegal and the hills of Inishowen, Donegal has come alive with great artwork once again.

A very special thanks goes out to all the artists, each and every one of you were the stars of the show of the most important festival in our 35-year history and to the EAF team who worked through the challenges to make this event happen, Edel Corcoran, Seán Feeny, Seamus Coyle, Sharon McMenamin, Valerie Bryce, Marion Paugam, Kevin Murray, Kathleen Bonner and all our volunteers….take a bow.

Thanks to all our curators and partners, venues, crew and technicians. Aside from the artistic ouput of the festival there is always a lot going on in the background, a huge thanks to our chair Meabh Uí Chonnachain, and company secretary Eunan Kelly and to all our Board of Directors who have given their time so freely in looking after the organisation.

And last but not least to all the audiences and participants, without whom Earagail Arts Festival would simply not exist, we look forward to seeing you again in 2023.”
