Following a very successful trip to East Donegal in 2021, Donegal’s premier summer event, Earagail Arts Festival makes a welcome return to the area this July.

Testimonials from last year’s street theatre and gaming spectacle ‘Right Up Your Street’ which was delivered in both Raphoe and St. Johnston hailed the festival event as one of the best things that had ever come to the community.

Marking 70 years of the Ard Baithin estate a book of memories was created featuring photos from the spectacle.

‘Was a fab wee night, good to see on the estate’.

‘Great to see the children laughing and playing and having fun. More of that is needed’.

‘Was brilliant…just what we needed’

RAPHOE

‘It was great to see this in Cathedral Hill. It’s been a hard year for everyone and it just gave us a lift. It’s fair to say both young and old enjoyed it. We hope to have more events like this come to our wee town in the future’.

The Right Up Your Street project was successful in sewing the seeds for future collaborations between communities and the Earagail Arts Festival and indeed for creating connections within communities themselves.
