Telling The Whole Story: Taking Our Place

What does it mean to reclaim a narrative? And what richness can be nourished in Irish literature and the arts by making room for diverse and marginalised perspectives?

In this Decade of Centenaries we celebrate a panel of writers, thinkers and creators who have pushed back against erasure and crossed the line(s) to retell the stories we think we know. Join us for readings and discussion as we move between languages, cultural influences and histories to explore questions of identity, belonging and creative practice.

Chaired by Dr Angela Byrne with panel contributions from Kit de Waal, Senator Eileen Flynn, and curator Annemarie Ní Churreáin. Music by Mairéad O’Donnell.
