Cosán Thoraí - Art & Poetry Trail on Oileán Thoraí
This event will be in Irish and Scottish Gaelic.
Along this short walk you will get to see new visual artwork and listen to poems and stories by writers from Scotland and Ireland. The walk is a great chance to engage with the island through art and poetry in a relaxed outdoor setting with majestic views and great company.
Poems and stories by the writers Ceaití Ní Bheildiúin, Peter MacKay, Rona Dhòmhnallach and Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde.
Visual art by Róisín Ní Chionnfhaolaidh, Rupachitta Robertson and special guests from Scotland and Ireland.
The walk will start at the hotel on Oileán Thoraí at 2pm Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July.
The event will last about two hours and will finish back at the hotel in good time for the last boat.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the Irish summer.
The film Dùthchas, will be screened Saturday 8pm in the Club, presented by director Andy McKinnon. Followed by traditional music session.
