Mná na bhFidleacha was a concert, commissioned by Earagail Arts Festival for its 30th year in July, 2018, which brought together, for the first time, 13 of the finest female fiddlers either from Donegal, associated with Donegal or residing in Donegal. It represented a mere tip of the iceberg of a huge quantity of quality female fiddlers around the county (as seen in this video when 30 more young fiddle players joined for the finale) and is just the start of a Donegal female fiddle showcasing revolution! The lineup for the concert included Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Bríd Harper, Liz Doherty, Roisin McGrory (Harrigan), Clare Friel, Melanie Houton, Theresa Kavanagh, Aisling Drost-Byrne, Tara Connaghan, Denise Boyle, Claire Gallagher, Clódagh Warnock, Eimear McColgan and many more.
