Pádraic Reaney | Obair Saoil (An Gailearaí)

An Gailearaí in gaoth Dobhair was honoured to bring an ‘overview’ of prolific artist, Pádraic Reaney’s oeuvre to Donegal for Earagail Arts Festival 2025. Reaney, from An Ceathrú Rua, Connemara describes himself as self- taught and is a major talent. He has exhibited nationally and internationally consistently since the early ‘70’s receiving many accolades and prestigious awards in recognition of his endeavours. He is proficient not just in painting but also sculpture, printing, ceramics, graphics and has even successfully accomplished wall-hangings. Numerous poets and writers have sought to collaborate with him and he has completed a number of public art commissions.
