Ubuntu Trekkers, BIG CHEEKS and Samuel Yakura

Join Laura (Dj BIG CHEEKS) and Ian, founder of Ubuntu Trekkers (a hiking community for Kenyan expats in Ireland) for a beginner-friendly hike through the landscapes of Donegal. Together with poet Samuel Yakura, this is an invitation to experience nature differently; through movement, creativity, and community. This hike is for all communities, and especially for those who don’t always see themselves in the outdoors. Donegal is vast and beautiful, and its landscapes are there to be explored by everyone.

Meeting Point – Visitor Centre, Glenveagh National Park. Walk duration approx. 2hrs on some uneven ground, please address appropriately for the terrain and weather. Supported by National Parks & Wildlife Service.
