The Office of Public Works presents
The Glebe House & Gallery Tour
Join us for a guided tour of the Glebe House, the former home of artist and collector Derek Hill, situated on rising ground, beside Lough Gartan, east of Glenveagh National Park, Co Donegal.
The tour will take a look at the collection art Hill built up over 30 years living in Donegal, and his own paintings.
Collection highlights include 20th Century Art, Islamic ceramics. William Morris textiles, along with lots of Victoriana and some lovely curiosities.
Of particular interest is also Hill’s association with Tory Island and his founding and encouragement of the Tory Island folk arts.
Glebe House and Gallery are operated and managed by the Office of Public Works.
