Rónán Ó Snodaigh & Myles O'Reilly, Trá Pháidín, Spásas
Combining the Gaelic lyrics and acoustic instrumentation of Kíla frontman Rónán Ó Snodaigh with the lush, organic, synthesised soundscapes of musician/filmmaker Myles O’Reilly, Tá Go Maith is a collection of works creatively inspired by gratitude, isolation and the generosity of time spent in lockdown.
Trá Pháidín are a group of musicians based in Connemara and Cork City blending folk structures, the absurd and the abstract through group improvisation. Having released their first album “Set a hAon” and the blúiríní beaga EPs since 2019, the group looks to release their 2nd album “Set a Dó” this year.
Naoise and Marcus Mac Conghail have played together as Spásas at various festivals in Ireland for the past five years. This co-operation is based on Naoise creating soundscapes for Marcus’s poems. In 2021 they released their first track & video, ‘What Happens When There is Nothing’. Further releases are due in 2022.
