Rockwell Kent was an artist, printmaker, illustrator, photographer, filmmaker and architect but also was an intrepid traveller, a writer and a political activist.

In 1926, he arrived in isolated Glenlough, Co Donegal and produced work in his converted cowshed which showcased the rugged wilds of Donegal, while making close connections with his neighbours.
