Now in its 4th year the WEFT Residency partnership with Dublin Fringe Festival welcomes Qbanaa to Donegal. Qbanaa, is an Irish-Cuban artist blending neo-soul, Latin jazz-infused pop, and raw storytelling with comparisons to Erykah Badu & Amy Winehouse. With previous performances at Electric Picnic, All Together Now, Cork Jazz, Beyond The Pale, 

Forbidden Fruit and Other Voices, she began 2025 as the Irish Times’ 50 For the Future cover star. In 2026, taking time to connect with the community and local musicians under the umbrella of her latest project Soul Juice, Qbanaa’s residency will give opportunity to local emerging and established artists to collaborate with a view to performance in 2027.
