In Their Thousands

NOTICE: We are currently experiencing a high volume of traffic to our website for this event. Unless you see the event marked as ‘Sold Out’ at the top of this page, please keep on trying. We thank you for your patience!

In Their Thousands is a four-piece alternative rock band from the north-west Atlantic coast of Donegal. Two brothers, their first cousin, and a lifelong friend making deep, epic but accessible stadium alt-rock.

A desperately beautiful rural place with dramatic landscape and a history of emigration, the sound is deeply influenced by the surroundings. Blending imagery from the natural world with modern Americana-esque sounds with a pounding rhythm section and modern dance grooves.

The sound has acoustic instruments, stadium electric guitars, alt-country influenced pedal steel, spacey synthesizers and spiritual, sometimes trippy, sometimes raw lyrics that have a search for meaning and an emotional, honest and simple take on the everyday.

Supporting In Their Thousands on the night will be Donegal singer songwriter George Houston who released his debut album, Cold Toast, last month. Moving through genres like sad pop, synth pop, soft rock, reggae, folk and country the 19-year-old artist explores topics like depression, love and death through his album which he wrote, recorded and produced himself.
