Optum Inclusive Arts Bursaries

Earagail Arts Festival is delighted to offer a select number of bursaries for the ‘Home with The Henry Girls’ residency.

The aim of the bursaries, funded by Optum Ireland, is to enhance access to the arts and is offered to participants for whom there may be barriers to participation – physical, economic, social, emotional or cultural.

Earagail Arts Festival is committed to supporting the inclusion and skills development of people from different ethnic backgrounds, people with a disability and those from rural communities.

Based in their home region of the rugged and beautiful Inishowen peninsula, Lorna, Karen and Joleen will be your hosts for 5 days of songwriting, traditional pub sessions and concerts.

Join us in the stunning surroundings of Ireland’s northernmost village of Malin, where The Henry Girls will explore the necessary tools and skills for inspiring and facilitating the craft of song writing, arranging and performing. All levels of experience welcome, some musical knowledge preferred. We advise participants should arrive in the area on Sunday 21st July.

The bursary includes:

    • 5-day workshop fees

    • Lunch each day

    • Admission to The Henry Girls concert during Earagail Arts Festival 2024

    • Admission to the Inishowen Traditional Music Project concert during Earagail Arts Festival 2024

Please note: the bursary does not include accommodation, evening meals and other optional activities. For further information e-mail info@eaf.ie
