Earagail Arts Festival is proud to present an intimate Bluegrass tour featuring two of Charleston, South Carolina’s most accomplished musicians: Daniel Patrick and Whitt Algar.

Daniel Patrick arrives in Donegal at the peak of a landmark year. A #10 Billboard Recording Artist and Bluegrass Unlimited cover artist, Daniel has become a global authority on the mandolin. His acclaimed podcast, Mandolins and Beer, recently surpassed 2.5 million downloads, and his expertise has been immortalized in his lately released instructional book. 

Having performed over 2,500 gigs since 2016, Daniel brings a level of seasoned craftsmanship and “front-page” industry recognition rarely seen on the touring circuit.

Joining him on acoustic guitar is Whitt Algar, a versatile powerhouse of the South Carolina music community. Whether on the upright bass, piano, or vocals, Whitt is the “musician’s musician.” 

Together, as key members of the band New Ghost Town, the duo has perfected a sound that bridges the gap between traditional mountain music and modern indie-Americana.
