DO YOU REMEMBER THE GREAT BALLROOM DANCES OF THE 50’S AND 60’S?

ARE YOU A FAN OF GLENROE AND BIDDY BYRNE?

Well this year to celebrate its 21st birthday the Earagail Arts Festival is offering you the chance to relive those great days and AT THE SAME TIME see the star of Glenroe, Mary Mc Evoy (who played Biddy Byrne) in a night of dancing and music in their major festival show “Dancing at the Ballroom of Romance” at Ramelton Town Hall Theatre. Whether you want to be a wallflower or join in the dancing you’ll be amazed as Ramelton Town Hall is transformed into a classic dancehall, complete with festoon lighting, live band, tea, mineral bar and queen cakes!

This FANTASTIC, nostalgic show is a very Donegal take on the dancehall phenomena and the ballrooms where love blossomed, with some very memorable Donegal characters you may know brought to life by professional actors!

There will be a total of 6 shows on Saturday 4th July through to Wednesday 8th July at 8pm and a matinee show on Sunday 5th July at 3pm.
For group bookings and more information please contact Earagail Arts Festival office on 0749168800 or email info@eaf.ie.
